Walk-in hours: Tuesdays, 1-4 p.m.Wednesdays, 9-11:45 a.m.
The Graduate College Career Services Office (GCCSO):
- Assists University of Illinois graduate students with decision making and planning for career paths both within and beyond the academy.
- Is a centralized resource for all graduate students, with services focused especially on the needs of graduate students in the humanities, social sciences, fine arts, and other areas in which students do not have their own career services offices.
GCCSO staff:
- Provide advising, workshops, web resources, and referrals to help students with career choices and with their independent job search.
- Consult with departmental directors of graduate study to assist with programs for students pursuing academic careers.
Mission Statement
The Graduate College Career Services Office provides direct and auxiliary career services to students of the Graduate College, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The office provides services that complement and supplement those offered by other career offices on campus and by academic units.
